METHOD AND MATERIAL FOR IDENTIFYING PEDIGREE OF CANINE ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determine a contribution of population of canine animal to canine animal genome.

SOLUTION: The method includes: (a) in each of marker sets, a step to obtain an identity of one or both of allelic genes in a genome of a canine animal for testing; and (b) a step to determine a contribution of a population of canine animal to the canine animal for testing by comparing the allelic genes in the genome of the canine animal with a database which includes a profile of the population of canine animal. In the step (b), each profile of the population of canine animal genome includes a genotypic information of the marker set in the population of canine animal.
