<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound dressing adequately holding an exudate to hold an adequate wet environment of the wound surface, improved in the leakage of the exudate to the outside from the dressing, causing neither reddening nor sudamina without completely sticking to the wound surface and usable being cut into free size and shape. <P>SOLUTION: The wound dressing includes a first layer including a hydrophobic porous sheet facing the wound surface and exhibiting an initial water pressure resistant function with an air permeability of JIS L 1096 being 20-2,000 cm<SP>3</SP>/cm<SP>2</SP>.s and with a water repellency of JIS L 1092 being 3 points or more, and a second layer exhibiting a function of absorbing the exudate oozing out of a wound site and permeating the first layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
