PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized coil antenna which operates even if disposed proximately to a conductor plate, and has a high degree of coupling with an antenna at a communication partner side, and a portable electronic apparatus comprising the same. SOLUTION: Each of a lower-layer coil conductor part 11U and an upper-layer coil conductor 11S is approximately rectangular and eddy-shaped and by making an inner terminal of the lower-layer coil conductor 11U and an inner terminal of the upper-layer coil conductor 11S conductive, both the conductors are connected in series. With respect to the lower-layer coil conductor 11U and the upper-layer coil conductor 11S, an arrangement interval of axial parallel parts PA in parallel with an axial direction of a magnetic core 1 is narrower than an arrangement interval of axial crossing parts CA crossing the axis of the magnetic core 1.
