PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling prevention tool for an article which is employed in a steel shelf, in which two or more holes are bored in supports or a triangular ornament is attached to the lower piece of a shelf board, is inexpensive, and is easy to be attached. SOLUTION: The falling prevention tool for an article is attached by attaching two or more hook-shaped devices 1 to the opposed two sides of a rectangular net 2, which is made of an elastic band or a common rubber and is hard to be torn by making four sides double, respectively, and by hanging on the holes of the right and left supports 5 or the triangular ornaments of the up-and-down steel shelves.
