PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output contents selected in a well-balanced manner from obtained contents. SOLUTION: When first a user enters a command to start a slide show (S60), predetermined photograph data and a movement history are read (S62), and the number of displayed photographs is determined for each segment of the stay and the segment of movement included in the movement history (S64). Then, face recognition processing is performed to photographs to be processed to categorize them into the portraits and the non-portrait (S66), and the photographs are selected from each category for each segment, so that a ratio between the portrait and the non-portrait comes to be a predetermined value (S68). When the number of taken photographs is smaller than the number of displayed photographs for the same segment (N in S70), a deficient number of photographs are downloaded from an information providing server based on position information on the segment (S72). When the photographs to be displayed are made available (Y in S70, or S72), images for switching the photographs in the order of time of photographing are generated, and the slide show is displayed (S74).
