PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention shelter installed in a building, which overcomes the problem wherein, when a door of the disaster prevention shelter is broken and deformed in case of a disaster, the door is not opened so that there is a possibility of losing a disaster prevention function, so a disaster prevention shelter satisfying the safety of equipment, easiness of installation, convenience and low cost are demanded. SOLUTION: In the structure (the disaster prevention shelter) having a refuge space formed by side walls having earthquake-proof and fire-proof construction installed in the building, cells having earthquake-proof and fire-proof construction divided by a partition wall are provided in the refuge space. The disaster prevention shelter includes a first door which opens the interior of the cell and the outside of the construction to be communicated with each other or shields for closing; and a second door, which opens the interior of the cells and the interior of the refuge space to be communicated with each other or shields for closing, wherein the door is functionally used to secure a living space in a daily life, in case of a disaster and aftermath, and safety, convenience and low cost are achieved.
