PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-repellent paper hardly causing deterioration of water repellency with heat and having excellent anti-slip property without applying an undercoating agent. SOLUTION: The water-repellent paper is produced by coating at least one surface of a paper support with a mixture containing (A) an aqueous dispersion of a polyolefin resin, (B) a wax-based water-repellent, and a tackifying agent, wherein the (A):(B) mass ratio is 1:99 to 50:50 as solid basis and the content of the tackifying agent is 0.5-20 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of (A)+(B).
