PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate measurement of a position of an upper jaw part and a lower jaw part. SOLUTION: This head member 30 constitutes an insert detachable cutting tool by being installed on the tip of a holder, by forming an insert installing seat 35 for detachably installing a cutting insert having a cutting edge in a head member body 30A. The head member body is provided with the upper jaw part 33 and the lower jaw part 34 for fixing the cutting insert by sandwiching from the vertical direction. The insert installing seat 35 is respectively arranged on the under surface of the upper jaw part and the upper surface of the lower jaw part, and a convex curved outside surface is arranged in one of the left-right side surfaces when viewed from the distal end side of the upper jaw part and the lower jaw part, and concave curved inside surfaces 33C and 34C are arranged on the other of the left-right side surfaces, respectively.
