PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bankbook printer and a bankbook issuing device capable of counting the number of bankbooks compactly and at a low cost without errors. SOLUTION: The bankbook printer for printing predetermined information on a bankbook and issuing it includes: a bankbook storage part capable of storing the bankbooks; a weight measurement part for measuring the weight of the bankbooks stored in the bankbook storage part; and a weight analysis part for calculating the weight of delivered bankbooks on the basis of the weight of the bankbooks stored in the bankbook storage part before delivery and the weight of the bankbooks stored in the bankbook storage part after the delivery when receiving an instruction to deliver the bankbooks from the outside, and counting the bankbooks stored in the bankbook storage part after the delivery on the basis of the calculated weight of the delivered bankbooks and the weight of the bankbooks stored in the bankbook storage part after the delivery.
