The fitting arrangement (1) has a fitting guide rail i.e. shield guide rail (5), provided with a crosscut section (9) and coupled with a fitting element i.e. closing part. An end of the fitting guide rail is provided through a crosscut. A coupling element is provided for coupling the fitting guide rail in an area of a crosscut end and partially mounted along the crosscut section of the fitting guide rail in a longitudinal manner. A coupling carriage (17) encompasses a fitting guide rail and is formed form a sheet metal profile. The coupling element is provided with the coupling carriage. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a fitting guide rail of a window, door and a flap gate.
