MODE-LOCKING POWER AMPLIFIER USING TRANSMISSION LINE TRANSFORMER

PURPOSE: A mode-locking power amplifier using transmission line transformer is provided to control a gate bias voltage of an added transistor independently of a power voltage by separating a gate of the added transistor on a DC circuit. CONSTITUTION: The first gate(501B) is combined via a transformer with the second drain(502A). An AC signal of the drain is combined via the transformer to the gate. A DC voltage of the drain is separated from the gate. An AC signal of the first drain(501A) is combined via the transformer with the second gate(502B). A DC voltage of the first drain is separated from the gate. The first and the second gate are separated from the first and the second drain on a DC circuit.
