PURPOSE: A device for detecting the cut state of a workpiece for lathe turning is provided to prevent a load applied to a probe from being transferred to a sensor and an actuator when the probe collides with a workpiece. CONSTITUTION: A device(10) for detecting the cut state of a workpiece for lathe turning comprises an actuator(20), a lever(50), a bracket(60), a dog(80), a probe, and a tension spring(90). The actuator is installed in one side of a lathe cutting machine tool and contracts and extends a rod(22). One side of the lever is connected to the rod through a first shaft(40), and the other side is connected to a second shaft(42). The bracket is installed in one side of the lever. The dog is installed in the second shaft. The top of the dog is detected by a sensor(70). The probe is in contact with a workpiece(W). One side of the tension spring is installed in one side of the bracket, and the other side is installed in the dog. The tension spring applies restoring force to the dog to pull the dog in a direction of detecting the dog by the sensor.
