CAMERA MODULE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A camera module and control method thereof are provided to implement a precise automatic focus function by removing preload from a voice coil actuator and to accurately recognize the location of lens by a hall sensor. CONSTITUTION: A hollow unit is formed in a housing(10). A lens module(20) includes the lens and is installed in the hollow unit of the housing. A magnetic body(30) is combined in the lens module. An electromagnet unit(40) is supported in the housing. The electromagnet unit transfers the lens module by generating magnetic field. A hall sensor(50) senses the variation of magnetic field according to the location change of the magnetic material.
