PURPOSE: A camera module is provided to improve the convenience of manufacture with the flexibility of device configuration. CONSTITUTION: Parts are mounted a circuit board(100). A DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(200) is mounted to the circuit board. A sensor module(300) is mounted to the circuit board. The sensor module has processing capability corresponding to the DSP. In correspondence with the processing capability of the sensor module, the firmware of the DSP is updated. The sensor module is combined through a connector(400) with the circuit board. The data receiving unit(500) of the circuit board downloads a program for firmware update from an external device(600).
