Complete piston and its use

The piston has a ring-shaped support (1) made from polymer material, and sealing rings (2.1, 2.2) connected with the support, where the rings are made from elastomer or thermoplastic material. The sealing rings have sealing lips (3.1, 3.2) that are connected with a wall (4) of a cylinder (5) in a sealing manner. A permanent magnetic ring (6) is arranged in the support, and the support has a piston retainer (8) at an inner circumference. The retainer is limited axially by front sides (9, 10), where one of the front sides has a bevel (11) for proper-centering of the complete piston.
