PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk conveying device for centering a large-diameter disk such as a 12 cm-disk as well as a small-diameter disk such as an 8 cm-disk, and to simplify a mechanism for centering a disk included in an optical disk drive. SOLUTION: On the outer circumference of a conveyer roller 1, projections 12 and 13 extending in a helical direction are symmetrically arranged across an axial center position C. During forward rotation of the conveyor roller 1, a disk D is pressed to the projections 12 and 13 to apply forces F1 and F2 toward the axial center position C in the disk D. An effective axial length of the conveyor roller 1 is set to be equal to or longer than the diameter of the large-diameter disk of the two types of disks, large-diameter and small-diameter disks different in diameter.
