PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information-processing device which efficiently executes profiling, and to provide a profiling method. SOLUTION: A computation part 11d executes programs 13a, 13b and 13c in association with first identification information, respectively. A comparison part 11b compares the first identification information of the respective programs 13a, 13b and 13c with second identification information stored in a storage part 11a when the computation part 11d starts to execute the programs 13a, 13b and 13c. When the first identification information accords with the second identification information, the comparison part 11b outputs a signal which promotes the acquisition of prescribed profile information on a relevant program.
