PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading test device of an seismic isolation device capable of being mounted with a load in a vertical direction following the horizontal deformation of the seismic isolation device. SOLUTION: The loading test device 10 for testing dynamic characteristics of a test body 1 of the seismic isolation device by being loaded with it comprises: a base body 12 having a flat side surface 12a; a main body 14 provided at a side of the side surface 12a of the base body 12 and freely movable in a direction along the side surface 12a; a fixed base 16 of a test body provided in the main body 14, freely rotatable in a prescribed direction with respect to the main body 14, and having a mounting surface 16a for mounting the test body 1 at its inside; and a loading means 18 for loading the test body 1 in a direction intersecting with the side surface 12a of the base body 12 at right angles.
