PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector allowing a user to put on it through bringing it into close contact with the figure of the body. SOLUTION: The protector includes a middle protective member 2 for protecting the chest and front abdomen and a pair of right/left side protective members 3 and 3 protrusively right/left sideward sewn from the middle protective member 2 and for protecting sides of the abdomen. In each longitudinal connective line 23 along which the members 2 and 3 are sewn together with each other, first vent openings 21 penetrating through the front and the back are formed by longitudinal connective non-sewn parts 29.
