PURPOSE: A stacking type electrode assembly and a lithium ion secondary battery having the same are provided to simplify an electrode terminal formation process, and to remove an unnecessary active material layer formed on an electrode plate laminated at the top and bottom. CONSTITUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly(100) including unit laminate and a pouch(200) in which the electrode assembly is accommodated. The unit laminate comprises: a first negative electrode current collector which has a first negative electrode uncoated part(111b) at one side thereof and is positioned at the bottom thereof; a first positive current collector which has a first negative electrode uncoated area(121b) and is positioned at the top thereof corresponding to the first negative electrode current collector; and a separator between the first negative electrode current collector and the first positive electrode current collector. |
