PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to increase an operation power of an LED by detecting the voltage drop of the LED. CONSTITUTION: In a display device and a driving method thereof, an image processing unit(100) processes an inputted image signal. A display panel(110) displays an image based on an image signal which is processed by the image processing unit. At lest one LED(130) supplies light to a display panel. A driving unit(120) supplies an operation power to the at least one LED and drives it. A feedback unit detects the voltage drop of at lest one LED and outputs the detection signal of the voltage drop.
