PURPOSE: An apparatus for following the load of a fuel cell power generation system is provided to mount a large-sized molten carbonate fuel cell having long lifetime by easily supplying additional power to a polymer electrolyte fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for following the load of a fuel cell power generation system comprises: a molten carbonate fuel cell(102) which produces electricity by receiving hydrogen generated from an LNG tank(100); a water electrolysis system(108) in which receives surplus power of the molten carbonate fuel cell and produces hydrogen by electrolyzing water; a polymeric electrolyte membrane fuel cell(112) which produces additional electricity by receiving hydrogen from the water electrolysis system; and a control part(114) which operates the polymer electrolyte fuel cell.
