PURPOSE: A method for replaying a multimedia file using a mobile terminal is provided to search a desired multimedia file by inputting a search query. CONSTITUTION: A control unit confirms a first multimedia file of an external device(S3). A control unit displays the first multimedia file and a second multimedia file in a memory to a display unit(S5). The control unit displays a search word input window to the display unit. If a search query is inputted, the control unit checks a multimedia file which is matched with the search query(S7,S9). If the matched multimedia file exists, the control unit displays the first search result to the display unit(S11).
