A relay includes sealed magnetic contact devices 12 operated by a common coil 24 have terminals 28 having rounded and flattened portions 28a, 28b which during assembly are inserted in holes 32 in insulating plates 14, 16 at each end of the relay. The devices 12 are then turned so that the flattened parts 28b of their terminals are out of alignment with the ends 32b of the holes and are locked in this position by a plate 18 having slots 36 fitting over terminal portions 28b. The plates 14, 16 may form bobbin ends for the coil 24 which is wound on an insulating layer 44 about the devices 12. The terminals 28 and the coil ends are connected to contact pins 22 on a base 20 which may be sealed to a housing 23. |
