A METHOD FOR WATERPROOFING AND REPAIRING OF CRACK IN STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A waterproofing and crack repairing method of a structure is provided to maintain stiffness and to prevent the progress of cracks by filling up a crack with waterproofing paste having high tensile strength and excellent adhesive property and waterproofing capacity. CONSTITUTION: A waterproofing and crack repairing method of a structure comprises the steps of: forming a U-shaped or V-shaped groove along a crack in a concrete structure; forming the tip of the crack in an arc having the diameter 1.5~3.0 times the width of the groove with a crack expansion preventer; removing impurities by cleaning up the circumference of the groove and the tip of the crack; spraying and permeating high penetration water borne primer of low viscosity to the groove and the circumference of the groove, and then drying; filling up the groove with waterproofing paste, and then drying; expanding the circumference of the groove by stages, and repeating the applying and drying processes of waterproofing paste several times; and applying and drying primer, thereby completing to repair the structure.
