摘要 PURPOSE: A vehicle control system with an automatic braking function based on front images is provided to prevent accidents by analyzing the states of one or more among traffic signals, front vehicles, and stop lines based on image data and automatically stopping a vehicle according to the analysis result. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle control system with an automatic braking function based on front images comprises a camera(130), an ignition key sensor(110), an ECU(Engine Control Unit,150), a memory(120), and a brake device part(160). The camera photographs the front area of a vehicle and outputs the image data. The ignition key sensor senses on/off state and outputs an ignition key sensing signal. The ECU is activated in response to the ignition key sensing signal to analyze the states of one or more among traffic signals, front vehicles, and stop lines based on the image data and selectively outputs a brake control signal according to the analysis result. The memory stores image analysis program being executed by the ECU. The brake device part respectively operates wheel brakes of vehicle wheels in response to the brake control signal from the ECU.
