PURPOSE: An optical irradiation control system of a vehicle lamp is provided to reduce a scale of a control system by forming a control unit with a control unit of a body side and a control unit of a lamp side. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle height sensor(Sh) detects a vehicle height of a rear wheel of a vehicle. A vehicle speed sensor(Sv) detects a vehicle speed of the vehicle. A steering angle sensor(S&thgr;) detects a steering angle of the vehicle. A flickering switch sensor(Ss) detects a flickering signal of a head lamp. A vehicle height ECU(1), a vehicle speed ECU(2), a steering angle ECU(3), and a flickering ECU(4) are composed of the control unit of the body side.
