PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing a phone book of a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to schematize the relation of the phone book information. CONSTITUTION: If information coping with phone book information exists, a control unit extracts connect information in the phonebook information(407,411). The control unit constitutes a GUI(Graphic User Interface) with the reference to the connect information(413). The control unit controls the display by a relation information display through the configured GUI(415). The control unit offers the detailed content of the phonebook information through a general information display.
