PURPOSE: A mobile terminal is provided to divide the screen in order to execute more than two independent applications. CONSTITUTION: Some part of a display unit(151) can be used as an input window(151b) in order to input various visual information. Other part of the display unit can be used as an output window(151a). If a virtual keypad(151c) is touched, a number key corresponding to the touched virtual keypad is displayed on the output window. If a first control unit(131) is manipulated, a call connection to the displayed telephone number is attempted. A plurality independent applications can be operated through the divided areas.
