PURPOSE: A high efficiency brown gas generator for a vehicle is provided to increase the cooling effect and electrolysis efficiency in an electrolytic cell by using the exterior air flowing in during the running of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A high efficiency brown gas generator for a vehicle comprises a main case(110), electrolytic cells(120), and electrolyte tanks(130,140). The main case comprises an electrolysis chamber(A) and an air inlet chamber(B) on the upper and lower sides thereof. The electrolytic cells are installed in a row within the electrolysis chamber of the main case. The electrolyte tanks are installed above the electrolytic cells and have (+) and (-) poles. The exterior air flowing into the air inlet chamber during the running of the vehicle passes through electrode plates(121,122) of the electrolytic cells and is discharged through a vent(113) formed on the top of the electrolysis chamber.
