PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an array panel for a liquid crystal display is provided to form a gate electrode and a common electrode by using one mask, thereby shortening a manufacturing time and reducing a manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an array substrate for liquid display device of a fringe field switching mode includes as follows: a step of forming common electrode branch unit(120) which is comprised of a gate line and a gate electrode(122) and a first metal material by using one mask; a step of forming a gate insulating layer(142) including the gate line, the gate electrode, and the common electrode; a step of forming a source and a drain electrode which is connected to an active layer(124), on the gate insulating layer; a step of forming a pixel electrode(118) which is connected to the drain electrode. |
