PURPOSE: A genome wide visual identification of human co-factor of HIV-1 infection is provided to identify HIV infection mechanism and HIV therapeutic compound. CONSTITUTION: A nucleic acid having a sequence of sequence number 46, partial sequence thereof, or complementary sequence thereof is used for identifying HIV-infection mechanism and a compound which is useful in treating HIV and is used as a drug target. The partial sequence contains 20 or more adjacent nucleotides.
