PURPOSE: A press mold device for forming a hole and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the shape failure of a forming material since a pressing unit elastically presses the forming material surrounding a processing member. CONSTITUTION: A press mold device(1) for forming a hole comprises a fixed mold unit(10), a processing member(15), a pressing unit(30) and a movable mold unit(20). A forming material is placed on the fixed mold unit. The processing member is protruded fro the fixed mold unit. The processing member forms a hole on the forming material. The processing member is inserted into the guide groove part of the pressing unit. The pressing unit elastically presses the forming material located outside the hole. The movable mold unit moves to the fixed mold unit to press the forming material.
