<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which sets a guide route by selecting properly a toll road or an ordinary road to which toll discount can be applied, in accordance with a user's selection standard. <P>SOLUTION: When a distance from the own car position to a destination is within a prescribed distance (for example, within 25 km), a route to the destination is searched for by using all roads including a toll road as an object (S11-S15). Then, when a toll road is included in the searched-for search route, it is determined whether commutation discount of ETC can be applied to the toll road based on discount information 27. When the commutation discount of ETC can be applied thereto, a CPU 41 sets the search route including the toll road as the guide route, when a discount utilization distance of the toll road is longer than algebra A (km) showing the shortest discount utilization distance, calculates a discount toll of the toll road, and displays the guide route and the discount toll on a liquid crystal display 15 (S16-S22). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
