PURPOSE: A device for clamping a wire rod for cutting a test piece is provided to prevent the cutting defects due to the movement of a wire rod. CONSTITUTION: A device for clamping a wire rod for cutting a test piece comprises a supporter(12), a pressure bar(15), an elastic member, and a handle(17). The supporter is installed in a base plate(11). A wire rod(W) is placed in the supporter. The pressure bar is installed in one-side end of the supporter to rotate. The pressure bar presses the wire rod to the supporter. The elastic member is installed in the leading end of the pressure bar. The handle is connected to the elastic member and is expanded to outside.
