ROOT TISSUE-SPECIFIC PROMOTER SLPOD FROM SOLANUM LYCOPERSICUM AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: A SIPOD protein which is specifically expressed in Solanum lycopersicum roots is provided to ensure quick development and breeding. CONSTITUTION: A SIPOD(Solanum lycopersicum peroxidase) which is expressed in a root contains an amino acid of sequence number 2. A gene encoding SIPOD protein contains a base sequence of sequence number 1. A promoter of SIPOD gene contains a base sequence of sequence number 3. A method for specifically expressing a foreign gene comprises: a step of performing recombination of the foreign gene to a recombinant vector containing the promoter of SIPOD gene; and a step of transforming the recombinant vector to a plant.
