PURPOSE: A method for providing a friend finding SMS service and method for processing a response according to a SMS service request are provided to simply request other telephone number by utilizing an address book with a SMS function of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A requester terminal stores a name selected per priority by requester from a telephone list outputted on a screen(S11). The requester terminal generates a friend finding request message according to the request of the requester(S12).
