摘要 PURPOSE: A rollover preventing control method for vehicle is provided to greatly improve safety of vehicles with low costs by maintaining a predictable conduct of a driver and preventing the vehicle from rolling over. CONSTITUTION: The rollover preventing control method for vehicle includes following steps. A rollover possibility of the vehicle is decided by using velocity differences of both driving wheels and an horizontal acceleration of the vehicle(S10). As a result of carrying out the rollover possibility decision, if the rollover is predicted, a rotation velocity of the driving wheel is controlled, and a slip of the driving wheel is generated(S20). The rollover possibility decision step includes following steps. Whether the velocity differences of both sides driving wheels exceeds a predetermined first standard value or not is decided(S12). Whether or not the horizontal acceleration of the vehicle measured by a horizontal acceleration sensor of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined second standard value or not is decided(S14). If the velocity differences of both sides driving wheels exceeds the predetermined first standard value, and if the horizontal acceleration of the vehicle exceeds the predetermined second standard value, the vehicle is expected to be rolled over.
