QUALITY MONITORING OF SPLICES IN AN ELONGATED TEXTILE TEST MATERIAL

The method involves establishing a cleaning threshold between admissible and inadmissible imperfections in a test material. Another cleaning threshold is calculated between admissible and inadmissible splices in the test material and transmitted to a measuring head. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for monitoring the quality of an oblong, in longitudinal direction by an electronic measuring head; and (2) a device for monitoring the quality of an oblong textile test property.
