PURPOSE: A probiotic composition containing Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum SPM1204 Lactobacillus or culture thereof is provided to promote livestock growth and to be used in manufacturing foods. CONSTITUTION: A probiotic composition for livestock contains Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum SPM12-4 Lactobacillus(deposit number: KCTC 10616BP) or culture thereof as an active ingredient. The probiotic composition contains Lactobacillus of Lactobacillus acidophilus or Pediococcus pentosaceus or culture thereof. The probiotic composition has an effect of cleaning intestine against Salmonella gallinarum, Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter jejuni, and Clostridium perfringens. The livestock is calf.
