The tool has a cage (21) that is integral in translation with a wall (1) of a combustion chamber (11) at a rear side and with a pin guide (9) at a front side. A return unit opens the chamber driving the pin guide forwardly, when the tool is opened. A single central spring (32) opens the chamber. A single opening and closing side chamber abutment (18) is provided is at a side of the tool, and is integral with the chamber. The side chamber abutment is movably mounted in translation on a corresponding side of a cylinder (3) of an internal combustion engine (2).
