<p>Acoustic component (10) comprises: an influencing element (1) made up of a porous material; and a sheathing (2), which at least partially surrounds the influencing element. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a room comprising the acoustic component or many acoustic components, where each influencing element of the acoustic component is arranged at a distance of at least 2 cm, preferably 2-100 cm, or up to one eighth of the largest dimension of the room in terms of length, width and height, and is arranged at a distance of 5-65 cm from at least one wall of the room; and (2) applying the acoustic component, comprising introducing at least one acoustic component in the room, where the room is an office, a conference or a meeting room, and/or the dimension of the room in terms of length and width is 3-10 m, respectively.</p> |
