摘要 PURPOSE: A non-transferred type plasma torch having a shrinkage type electrode part is provided to stabilize an arc discharge by generating flow rotation in an arc chamber within a downstream electrode part. CONSTITUTION: A ring member(3) and an insulator(4) are formed between the downstream electrode part(1) and upstream electrode part(2). The ring member comprises a plurality of orifices(11) which are formed according to a circumferential direction in order to supply actuating gas in a vortex shape. The insulator electrically insulates the downstream electrode part and the upstream electrode part. The arc chamber is formed in a hollow structure of the downstream electrode part. The upstream electrode part is composed of a hollow or a button type electrode having a larger diameter than the downstream electrode part. A reduced region unit(5) is formed in the upstream electrode part within the downstream electrode part. An extended region part(6) is formed at the exit of the downstream electrode part.
