PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to improve efficiency and luminance and improve display quality by preventing light form entering non display area. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes as follows. A backlight unit includes a diffusion plate and an optical sheet(140) to examine the light to the liquid crystal panel(160). A safely receiving unit has the diffusion plate and an optical sheet which is safely received. A sheet guide(120) includes a protrusion which guides the diffusion plate and the optical sheet by being projected from the safely receiving unit. A panel guide(150) safely received the liquid crystal panel and coupled with a protrusion of the sheet guide. A bottom cover(110) mounts the backlight unit. An optical shielding method(180) shields the light which is emitted to the non display area. |
