PURPOSE: A polyester resin is provided to obtain a PCM clear paint composition with excellent processability, weather resistance, and clearness. CONSTITUTION: A polyester resin comprises: an acid component including 20-80 mol% of an aromatic dibasic acid component and 20-80 mol% of a cycloaliphatic dibasic acid component; and an alcoholic component including 5-40 mol% of alicyclic dihydric alcohols, 5-60 mol% of bisphenol modified alcohols, and 30-90 mol% of aliphatic dihydric alcohols. The number average molecular weight is 1,000-20,000 and the hydroxyl value is 10-60 mgKOH/g. |
