PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and charging control method thereof are provided to transparent sunlight. CONSTITUTION: A user input unit(130) receives a charging command signal about a solar cell. A controller(180) sets one part of a transparent display unit as a transparent area as the charging command signal is received. The control unit performs an information display operation in the transparent area.
