PURPOSE: A hinge module of a two-way sliding type portable terminal is provided to open or close the portable terminal by moving the slide bodies to different directions. CONSTITUTION: A first rack gear(41) is combined in one side of a first sliding member. A second rack gear(42) is combined in one side of a second sliding member. A first pinion gear(43) and a second pinion gear(44) are combined in a portable terminal body. The first pinion gear and the second pinion gear are placed on the first rack gear and the second rack gear.
