PURPOSE: Thawing storage method and apparatus of frozen food are provided to prevent the swelling of the surface of the food caused by exposing the food to the moisture after thawing. CONSTITUTION: A thawing storage method of frozen food(F) is performed by supplying hot air to a cold storage tank(1) while forming the electric field by applying the high potential voltage, for melting ice attached to the food or formed on the surface of the food. The frozen food is stored on a shelf(2) inside the cold storage tank. The shelf is formed with a conductive material.
