PURPOSE: A composition containing grass powder or grass hot water extract is provided to prevent side effects due to hair dyeing and to ensure convenience. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing side effects of hair dyeing contains grass power or hot water extract as an active ingredient. The grass hot water extract is prepared by adding 10 weight parts of grass to 100 weight parts of water, heating at 100-120 °C and then heating 50-80 °C. THE composition additionally contains powder or hot water extract of Glycyrrhizae radix, Ecliptae Herba, Sasa borealis, Korean lespedeza, or Ceramium kondoi.
