PURPOSE: An electric wire composition for vehicles is provided to ensure environment friendliness, high abrasion resistance, cold resistance and fire retardant characteristic. CONSTITUTION: An electric wire composition for vehicles includes, 100 parts by weight of a base resin, 70-180 parts by weight of metal-hydroxide-based flame retardant in which Moss hardness is 2~3 and particle size is 1~6 micron. The base resin includes 30-60 weight% of polypropylene having a frictional coefficient of 0.1~0.3, elasticity coefficient of 3000~5000 kgf/cm^2, and Shore D hardness of 70~90, and 40-70 weight% of a polyolefin elastomer resin having a frictional coefficient of 0.1~0.2, elasticity coefficient of 500~1000 kgf/cm^2, and Shore A hardness of 60~90.
